Last night a fly buzzed around me as I sat on my deck. So where was that fly one week ago pre-hurricane? I doubt it was able to remain in the same place during the hurricane, given that some humongous trees in my neighborhood were not even able to hold their ground. And if taken up by the wind at all, that fly must have blown for hundreds and hundreds of miles, right? So did the storm randomly distribute millions of bugs to different locations, and they just pick up right where they left off, just with different bug family and bug friends?
